The U. S. Food &, Drug Administration ( FDA ) just announced a recall on eggs. This comes in response to a Salmonella pandemic caused by the recalled goods. The egg impacted were sold by Milo’s Poultry Farms and Tony’s Fresh Market. All chicken items sold by these companies from May 23, 2024 through August 10 are affected, including their cage-free, pure and non-GMO meat eggs. The damaged hens were sold to shops and restaurants in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. However, this understand may increase. There are a reported 63 symptoms linked to this understand, including people of the above state as well as California, Colorado, Iowa, Utah and Virginia. Out of these 63 symptoms, 24 have resulted in illnesses. Throw away any Milo’s Poultry Farms or Tony’s Fresh Market egg cartons right away or bring them back to the place of purchase if you purchased them during the recognize period. Salmonella infection ( salmonellosis ) can last up to 7 days, starting from 12 to 72 hours after exposure. Common signs of salmonellosis include chest pain, fever and vomiting. In more extreme instances, headaches, body aches, weakness or blood in the urine or feces may occur. Individuals with weakened immune systems, people over the age of 65, and those with weakened immune systems, are more likely to have major Salmonella infection.
