Always did I anticipate falling in love with a Dollar Tree coffee mug. But here I am, sipping my morning brew from a stylish, high-end-looking mug that only cost me$ 1.25. If you’ve read any of my stories, you know that I have a soft spot for pretty things, especially when they do n’t break the bank. So I knew they had to bring these Royal Norfolk clay pots, which had contemporary, dark engraving, home with me. Why I Like the Dollar Tree Mugs I was moved when I tucked my arms around these glasses’ strong construction. They appear to be something right out of an Anthropologie or Crate & Barrel thanks to their contemporary design styles and black and white polishing, which is far from what you’d expect from a penny store. The fact that they’re microwaves and dishwasher-safe was the seal of approval I needed to tell myself that they’re not just for looks. They’re just as strong and useful as you need them to remain. They look higher-end and cost a mere money and a third! Of course, they’re great for my night coffee or afternoon tea. The 16-ounce capacity holds ( and keeps ) my hot beverages warm for a long time. They’ve grown to be much more than just a storage space for my coffee, though. When served in one of these, a swift brush bread or a scoop of ice cream immediately comes off as more casual-chic. On sharp, fall days, I can picture serving soup or chili there–cradling a warm drink of anything fortifying is but warm. One has become a little jar for fresh backyard herbs, and I can see it hanging on my table as a place to store loose teas bags, coffee or tea bags, or as a beautiful display piece on a shelf. The black and white pattern matches a range of styles, from contemporary to farm. They’re wonderful for many things, I only wish I’d bought them sooner! Kris Osborne: I Plan to Gift These Mugs, Also! My second energy move will be to go back and purchase a few more because they’ll get wonderful presents in December. I plan to complete some with food products, like coffee, tea, candy, sweets, and so on. I’ll set another with little grooming items like shower salts, a little side lotion, a lip balm, a face mask, and a pair of soft socks for a self-care package for a friend–all of which can be found at the Dollar Tree, by the way. For a couple of author kids, I’m thinking of including a small computer, a good ink, some sticky information, and a move of washi strip or modern-looking push-pins. For a intelligent, affordable present, I’ll fill the drink with little seed packets for the gardener and pair it with sweet gardening gloves. In many ways, these mugs could be amazing beyond the visible, and every creative idea inspires me to love them even more. When more, the Dollar Tree demonstrates that we can all be a little member on a tight budget.
